Camping.

When booking, we require to know your intended arrival and departure dates.

Caravan and Tent Sites are well grassed and near level. There is a limited number of powered sites.

The showgrounds allows camping all year round. If you want to come early or stay for a few days extra after, that can be organised.

If you require a powered site bring a long lead.
A dump point is on site.

Camp Fires.

Camp fires are allowed, they must be contained in a drum and raised of the ground. Bring your own firewood or purchase locally. The Show Society sells firewood. We will have a communal camp fire near the hall for all to enjoy.

Canteen

A small selection of soft drinks and bottled water will be available for purchase.
The Canteen will operate as a Takeaway with limited times. No set meals as such. Fast Food Snacks to get you through.

Kitchen.

The kitchen is available for all to prepare and cook their own meals.
Microwave ,Toaster, Stove etc  available.

Cold Room.

A large walk in Cold Room is available for everyone to use at no cost. For your personal Drinks and Food. Just put them in a box and mark your name on it.

Dining.

The Dining room is next to the Kitchen and is available for social use .

Showers.

Available 24/7. You will require a $1-00 coin per shower of 3 minutes. They are instantaneous gas operated and work very well.

Partners.

The non dancing partners who come along find plenty to do. A game of Golf, Fishing, 4WD Driving, Gold fossicking or even an afternoon at the Bowls Club or Kenilworth Hotel can be relaxing as well as the evening campfire and still have quality time day and night with their partners and or families.

Kenilworth.

The www.kenilworth.qld.au web site has a good Route Map with Directions, plus a lot of  information about the Kenilworth area. Well worth the look if you have never been to Kenilworth.

Pets.

Small dogs are allowed. They must be controlled and any mess cleaned up by the owner.

Shops and Services

Just a 5 minute walk up town to Friendly Grocer ( open all Easter) – Hotel – Coffee Shops – Hot Bread – Garage – Newsagent – Cheese Factory – Bowls Club – Opportunity Shop etc.
